Annika Haack
In 1994, I was born at home in Aachen — maybe that was already a sign of my future path.
After many years of school and a year of voluntary service in a maternity ward, I knew:
I want to support families during this special time.
In October 2015, I began my midwifery training at Vinzenz-Palotti Hospital in Bensberg, Bergisch Gladbach, which I successfully completed in 2018 as a certified midwife.
After almost two years of learning, working, and traveling abroad, I returned to my hometown and have since been working as a freelance midwife in Aachen.
My passion for evidence-based midwifery care led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery in 2024.
At the same time, I specialized in breastfeeding support and became a certified IBCLC lactation consultant (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) in January 2025.
I see myself and the families as a small team.

With the international certification as an IBCLC lactation consultant, I help with all breastfeeding challenges — from painful beginnings to complex situations such as tongue-tie issues.
Miscarriages and stillbirths are tragic experiences. With specialized training, I support families during these difficult times — offering counseling, guidance, and postpartum care.
Low-level laser therapy, kinesiotaping, and acupuncture complement my classic midwifery services to support your optimal healing and well-being.
I know the region, the hospitals, and the network of colleagues and specialists.

Despite my international experience, I consciously returned to my hometown. Here I can offer families the personal, continuous care that is so valuable in today’s world.
