Honest information about available spots
My availability is always upon request. Especially for home birth care, I recommend reaching out early – ideally during the first trimester.
First conversation without obligation
For home birth care, an introductory meeting is standard. Together we’ll look at:
Preparing for birth can feel overwhelming. Talk to your midwife to address any questions and prepare intentionally. Breathing and relaxation techniques can also help you feel more confident.
Contact your midwife if you have questions, feel uncertain, or even before labor begins. That way, we can discuss together what you need.
Postnatal care includes home visits focused on the well-being of both the newborn and the mother. During these visits, we provide support with breastfeeding and address any open questions.
In general, you can decide on a home birth up until shortly before delivery.
For the best possible care, I recommend registering early – ideally during the first trimester.
I have full emergency equipment and work closely with the Aachen hospitals. If needed, I quickly arrange a safe transfer.
Of course! During home births, all important support people can be present – partners, children, parents. You decide who you want by your side.
In the first 10 days, I visit daily or as needed. After that, additional visits are possible up to the 8th week.
We’ll discuss together what you and your baby need.
Most services are covered by health insurance.
Additional costs only apply for on-call availability for home births and possibly for longer travel distances.
I’m looking forward to accompanying you on your journey — whether for a home birth, prenatal care, or postpartum support.
